This equipment is used as protection of sewage systems against blocking and as protections of waste water treatment plants against decreasing efficiency and operational problems.

Description of grease trap
Grease trap is made as full plastic, self-supporting tank. Volumes (sludge space, separating space) and dimensions are in accordance with standard DIN 4040. Material is used integral polypropylene.
Tank is designed for on the ground standing. Under tank of grease trap have to be made reinforced concrete base, necessary width and flat +/- 5 mm.
On the shorter sides of tank are inlet and outlet tubes DN 100 used for connections of sewage system. On the left side (of the inlet) is hot water inlet, designed for washing of inside tank space.
On right side of grease trap (of inlet) is placed heating of grease (incl. thermostat). Next to heating is transparent window (for observation of grease width). Tank is smell – tight closed by two covers. On the side wall of grease trap (or on room wall) is placed switch board. Inside of tank are two pumps: Amadrainer F 324 – for grease dispose and Amaporter S525 for sludge dispose. In one half of tank is submersible wall with grease pump sump. Next submersible wall is before outlet. In inside space are two oblique walls protect sedimentation of sludge in corners. On right side of tank are two tubes with ball valves. First tube is designed for grease dispose, second tube for sludge dispose (in case of necessity). Disposing and pumping will be made by trained person togather with Operational instructions into PE barrels (volume - 50 l).
Operation of grease trap
Water with content of grease and indissoluble substances flow into sludge and separation space, where go:
a) gravitate sedimentation of rough dirty towards bottom
b) cooling of inflowing water and grease separation towards water level
Pre-treated water than outflow under double submersible walls to outlet connected sewage system. On the outflow tube is placed ball valve for taking samples.
Disposing of grease is made periodically by trained person (or by sub-contractor way) in accordance with Operation instruction. Necessity time for grease disposing is determined in dependence of kitchen operation and width of grease layer on water level. Width of grease is determined by help of transparent window and can be max. 2 – 3 cm, than have to be disposed (grease pump) out off grease trap into PE barrels standing in room.
Necessity time for heating is set up on timer switch. In case, that separated grease on water level are mainly liquid type (fried oils etc.), than can be time of heating shorten, or can be fully switch off.
Dispose of sludge is ensured by help of sludge pump with cutting systém, in accordance with timer switch and is made directly into outflow. In case of necessity there is possibility sludge pipe into outlet closed and dispose sludge into PE barrels.
Grease trap is ventilated by inflowing sewage system (so called climbing pipe) above building roof. Room of grease trap is recommend to be ventilated independent pipe as well.
After dispose of grease (or sludge) is open hot water ball valve and is made washing of inside space of grease trap. Than grease trap have to be filled by cold water up to height of outlet (two water valves in kitchen are opened).
